I think that everyone can read, some people might be more inclined to reading than others. But if the circumstances are right, everyone can read and simultaneously I see in small town India, in young India, there is this hunger for knowledge. Every body loves a good story. So when you give children good stories, they get attracted to reading. It's criminal not to let children have lots of books to touch from the age of six months. That was the societal mission that we subscribed to at Pratham. And even today, Nippun Bharat, the government's first literacy program, is very seriously looking at the foundational framework for the national curriculum.
