The Importance of Having a Network in the Distributed Industry
In 2013, I moved to Austin left my hometown. It's a crazy story. When I got there, I had sort of miscalculated what it was going to cost me to rent in Austin. And I ended up the first couple months there, over drawing my account. Yes, I over drew my account because I did not have enough money to cover the rent at that time. But it was a huge sort of push for me. The idea is that if you are going into battle ... burn the ships behind you so you can't go back.
