The Power of Samuel's Speech in Chapter 12
Saul is not a hero in the story, but that doesn't mean he doesn't sometimes do heroic things. The spirit of God has come upon Saul as king. Now even Saul has demonstrated the fact that he can unite the people as king once again. So all this stuff is happening, but Samuel is demonstrating. This is not what God wants. He's allowing you to have this thing. We need to be reminded of this again.
