He picked stocks through a discount broker, you found companies that probably accorded with your values and you have so much still to look forward to. "This is exactly why we do what we do," says the Motley Fool Foundation's John MacIntosh. The foundation helps people living paycheck to paycheck learn how to save their first dollar.
