Is the Army in the Northern Rivers?
The army was deployed to lismore for a disaster recovery response. But they were just kind of plunked on the ground and told to take photos. Residents are yet doing everything themselves, including organising helicopter rescues. It seems as though they had been sent into this situation with just wha all too late. I haven't seen any justification for why that needs to be within an army that is like an inherently violent institution designed to the needs of the government and capital.
