Do You Need to Love Your Neighbor or Love a Stranger?
I think of humanism as collapsing the moral difference between you and others. And one thing that I see happening in America, but also certainly been happening in Europe in recent years is we are moving in a very dehumanizing direction. The question of whether you need to love your neighbor or love a stranger is not a new question. So much of the 21st century is going to be determined by whether or not we learn how to work with and love in quotes strangers as well as loving neighbors.
