"I think we need to learn from the past as we move forward," he says. "Things like transparency are really key." It's foolish to say you're going to be transparent with your people, but then explain things you can't share and why they aren't appropriate for that time or place. Setting clear expectations goes hand in hand with being real about what is expected of a person by their organization.
