The Necessity of Truth

There can be a tension between what is meaningful for a given individual and what is meaningful on a society level, or for the most number of individuals. I'm not saying that this sense of transcendent meaning is the only motivator. There's sub motivationa systems that can take control a time. If you contaminate the structure of your being with with false information, with deceptive practices, then you're going to be led astray by your sense of meaning. You're going to pathologize it.
