Candra Torrez, a Deer in the Woods
Kandra was overcome with the impulse to run into the woods. Julio and tom must have found a deer. Kandra remained where she was and waited for their return. A little while later, she saw tom walking towards the camp site. There was no sign of julia, as reported in the book,. empty promises. Candra got up and atowards the clearing, another gunshot rang out. At that moment, candra torrez was certain she wasg to die.
