Stoic philosophy, the school of philosophy comes from ancient Greece. Ancient Stoics tied Stoicism in with what we would consider perhaps more of a religious belief. Ryan Holiday is one of these popular promoters of Stoicism. He's kind of branded it or marketed it as this life hack.
