Liberal and Islamic Approaches to Public Reason

In Islam, rights always seem to have a responsibility attached to them and vice versa. Some scholars argue that political liberalism thus far has only really sought to address liberal or fundamentalist religious actors right. In an Islamic society we could never really do this right because we'll always make appeals to Islamic reasons for things right.
