There's a certain decorum that most preachers bring to the sacraments. The oral delivery and n reception of the word is conveying the very same thing as the wine and the bread are, he says. And i must say, a it's often humbling to preachers, the lay people being less well defended against god than we preachers. Lay people who listen and take this seriously, and the sermon becomes a crisis for them and their lives.
