The Importance of Urban Culture in Rural Life

I'm curious about how do we actually define what a city is, right? Like there is these definitions around numbers of people. In the UK, apparently, if you have a cathedral, you get to count as a city. What does a city have an essence for it to be considered a city? Right. So traditionally cities have been thought of as large places. And these are also dense spaces. And they are heterogeneous spaces. But increasingly now urban scholars, urban thinkers have really moved away from that kind of thinking around Cities.
