A lot of B-roll that didn't use, there was a lot more costumes and practical animatronics and stuff. They set up, they didn't make it into the cut and a lot of them are super cool. Are deleted scenes considered canon? I think it really depends on whether or not it ends up in the novelization. "I'm glad we get to see Carrie kind of matching their shot at least once," said director JJ Abrams.
