The Role of Culture in the Development of Personality
The culture in which we live is one of the most important environmental factors that shapes our personalities. Western ideals about personality are not necessarily applicable to other cultures and there is evidence that the strength of personality traits varies from culture to culture. So let's just look at genetics, the brain personality. This is called the biological perspective and it focuses on why or how personality traits manifest through biology. And then trait theorists, they also believe that personality can be conceptualized as a bunch of common traits, characteristic ways of behaving that every person exhibits to some degree.
