The Disturless community is looking to build minimal container images, basically only the things that are necessary to support the user's application and nothing else. Right now if you have like an app in a language like Python, and you need more than what the basic Disturless Python image requires, you have to go learn Basil to customize the image. Wolfie lets you do all of that with APKO and it's nice and clean and easy by comparison. No need to use the Basil or anything like that.
