i think you should start with a monolith first, for the simple reason that micro services come with a lot of adjacent complexity. So i men sa general a good idea to have as few moving parts as possible. And martin faller calls it the micro service premium, which i like. Is this premium worth it to you? You need more experience to make this trade off than many people think.
