The Importance of a Peaceful Protest
Two Tennessee legislators were expelled from the state legislature for their stance on gun control. The expulsion was a party line vote, which is unusual in an open-ended session of Congress. Senator Lamar Alexander said he believes there's something in the decorum of this body that makes it okay to belittle people who are exercising first amendment rights. "I'd much rather be talking with you about legislation to protect Shelby County"
