Is There a Conflict Between Science and Religion?

There are many animals that follow sensible survival strategies because they do certain behaviors by instinct, not because they're thinking things through and making plans. I see parallels to human behavior and ideas about religion and spirituality in all of this unconscious high performance in nature.
