The Importance of Accountability in Men's Spaces
On the question of risk and accountability, I myself have found it very helpful to be in men's spaces where there's somehow something about that alchemical space. There's a clear sense of, well, I don't want to let down in my brothers, you know, I've made this commitment to. And so I do think it's something about this honor code that on some level is just implicit when we drop our modern bullshit and we just get real with ourselves and each other. It's part of our cultural biological heritage.
