Step is basically the great equalizer, if you will. Don't let a low step score be a deterrent. If something dramatic happened that affected your performance on step one, and you probably would have scored better if that thing hadn't happened, explain it. But then also explain, because i think they like to ask. And there'se some things that tth may have more experience in interviewing over many more years than i do. Yes, yes, you can have a bad day.
