Introduction
Joshua moon describes the centrality of the land within this prophecy. The text plays a role as virtually a paradime of josea's message of judgment. Verses one to three could be read as an introduction to the main body of the books prophecies. By concentrating our focus on the land, echoes of eviction, exile can be heard without any licit mention being made. In particular, the people would look for in a covenant partner, faithfulness, steadfast love and knowledge of god.
