The Roses Are Leaving a Form of Sulphur in the Air
i've got em where i live, a big old cattle trough with am about three or four roses in and underneath them, i've got a salvia called genemsis. And it's the most wonderful airy salviat doesn't out compete the rose cause it's very low so the roses grow up through them and flower above them. But what happens on e, on a hot day, you actually walk by it, and you can smell almost a pepper kitchen smell,. like someone's dust grounded pepper in a morsel. The leaves are quite literally releasing an form of sulphur into the air because obviously we no longer have coal fires.
