I think the secret fear when it comes to health equity is that more and more people are going to be swept up and included in those disenfranchised population even if they were not historically considered that way. I mean there are chemotherapeutic cycles that would bankrupt someone who had a hundred thousand dollars for cancer immunotherapy but now you're starting to see all of us pay much higher prices with pharmaceutical companies. Health equity has to be taken seriously, we have populations that are being swept away on the downside of advantage which becomes deeply troubling at some level.
