Inger was inspired to write after reading an emily giffin novel. When she became pregnant with her first child, living in canada, those glorious people pay you for a year of maternity leave. And so i thought, well, i'll try this year and do it. I didn't have the audacity to think that i would be any good at it, but i thought, i want to do this. You know there are ups and downs on the road towards becoming published. But ultimately they're all part of the journey. Inger: "I've glossed over a lot of rejection... but i'm now sitting here"
