i now quite strongly that ethics, properly done, is patterned after benevolent monotheism. People who are brought up theistically have better intuitions about how to do ethics and how to be ethical than people who aren't. I also generally think that christianity, in particular, made liberalism possible. O, the impartial spectator, in the highest sense of the term, is, is like god. Is a lot like god in many important respects. Yes, yes, it does. Thank you so much.
