Severean and the Herdsman

Severean is a weird enough guy that's sure, but there's certainly no recognition or worship or any kind of thing on that level happening with this herdsman. So I think he lies to himself and then believes the lie. Which of course helps Severean not pick up on the fact that he's performing miracles. Although he does say that after they shoot off the birds, he made sure not to do the same kind of gesture. And he realizes that on some level he called them down, right?
