When you join Twilio, they have you create a project using the company's API to earn your track jacket. I've worked at companies that throw dozens of 500 errors every second at their scale. You will never hire enough people to solve that if you do an incident process on even 10% of them. So yeah, it was really interesting experience coming into technically the same company, but an entirely different company.
