The Body Temperature Sensor Will Not Be Available for the Series Seven
Rumours suggest that they had this body temperature sensor ready for the series seven, but they decided not to ship it. It's going to be used for utility planning exclusively and there is a chance that it will be used for better sleep tracking at launch. There is the rumour that apple is working on fever detection that would give you a notification, ever, but that's probably later. The actual ability to get a trending a temperature is not going to come, at least until an whole other apple watch model later down the line, according to rumours.
