The Importance of Spiritual Realism

The term spiritual realism, I think is the perfect term to describe not only like where I am, but also the sort of work I want to do in the world. It's about recognizing that spiritual yearning, longing, desire and commitment is a brute fact about what it means to be human. So cognitive science of religion says anything, it's that to be human is in some way to be spiritual or religious. And that is what I want to cultivate and work with going forward.
