How to Insert a Peritoneal Catheter

I try to place it away from any places that have peritoneal carcinomatosis because the catheter might get gunked up as we like to say in that stuff. The insertion site is usually lateral to midline, six to 10 centimeters below the costal margin, and above the patient's belt line. And then I just mark where the catheter exit site is. Again, I use the smoothest vector.
