Is This a Political Trick?

Shame is a real signaling device for people, you know? Correct. And so if you show no shame, people go, oh, that's not going to be okay. But yeah, if you're just if you're literally like built this whole platform where you're actually bragging about your horrible, depraved criminal behavior, then you don't get that same shame signal. Yeah, it's all political trick too. If you tell a lie bold enough and you tell it over and over and over again, it eventually becomes the double position. Or at the very least, you move the conversation.
