Foanteman: Publishers in general are supernervous baking into the editorial process. They're desperately trying not to have anything remotely controversial find its way into texts if they can help it, for fear of confected back lash on the internet. I think we're doing a lot of imagining the worst human being and then trying to hold back or amend what we say so that we don't either trigger the timid person or excite the bad person.
