The story of two nineteenth century robber barons and the incredible impact that both of them had on the whole landscape of california. This is actually not the henry miller that most people would know about. He was kind of like a horatio alger's story, you know, he pulled himself by his boot straps. Within 20 years, he owned more land than anyone else in the united states. That's wild. There was his idea that he could drive a herd of cattle from mexico all the way up to oregon without ever once leaving land that he owned. And so this is where he wanted to be buried when he died at age 89 - mount madonna
