Is There a Real Problem for Liberalism?

I think you've identified right there what I see as the one of the biggest problems for liberalism with the times of digital platforms that we're now seeing. The idea of a world where we can go into a digital space and communicate freely with large numbers of people because they are the bigness. We want that to persist, but it does seem like global reach is arguably a significant cause of say the rise of populism or authoritarian movements.
