Is it possible to prove causality? That's what I'm asking you. Not in a randomized controlled trial, that's obviously the gold standard of research. It'll take 30 years, too slow, and no one's going to give you an ethical permission for that anyway. But again, from a paper that was written by Ann McKee, who's the leader on the CTE space, she writes, large scale longitudinal prospective studies are critically needed. So sport can't wait.
