Covede ar ds patients often suddenly have some decompensation that we were not accustomed to seeing in other types of a r d s. We would have families on zoom screen in the room, and they were etnow. It felt nearly impossible. But i was amazed at how, once we were able to help patients over that severe initial ic insult and and decompensation, they got better. They rehabed really fast.
