Is There a Dogma Baked Into the Economic Discipline?
There's a religious aspect to a lot of our beliefs, right? We don't like to dwell on the doubts. When doubts arise, we just push them down. Dogma is how we... I don't sit up every morning and wonder in the dark, is the sun going to come up this morning? A bunch of things are like that. But at various times, we're jarred out of our complacency and forced to be open-minded. It's very powerful and it's scary, but it's also an opportunity for growth.
