Do Strength Training on the Days You've Run or Not?

In an ideal world, would you do strength training on the days that you've run or not? Ideally yes, but life gets in the way. I ran a half marathon at the weekend, but I also play hockey. My highest mileage week was actually race week because I had a league hockey league game the day before. So my training was like, I was still lifting heavy weight. It's not the tech is by far the stereoised tech, tech, expert half marathon approach,. But I had to do what was works for me. We're not paid athletes, we're not paid to run for a living.
