Why Financial Independence Matters So Much
Amit: I don't think men in India sort of think about what the lives of women in India like right it's just to live a life without agency and to take refuge. He says that there could be hundreds of reasons why what is happening for his limited personal vantage, but he was blown away when he saw statistics on farmer suicides. Amit: The factor of not having an independent source of income becomes a lever of control and you know all of those questions have such a big impact on how I think about the world because it just makes you very sad.
