The Problem With Access to Weight Loss Surgery

There is a lot of excitement around the new medications and they're showing results that are pretty comparable really to surgery which is very impressive. I think it's something that we haven't focused enough on and as a suspect partly from our side that's also that getting access to those services is not always easy. In the UK at the moment there are big issues with supply. So it's difficult even for our diabetic patients who are on these medications to get access. For patients who are not diabetic that's much much harder, just literally supply and demand being a problem at the moment.
