Is There a Four-Year Cycle or a 40-Year Interest Rate Cycle?

Alan Greenspan: It could have nothing to do with the presidential cycle it could just be a four-year cycle and where it just happens to be we're in that time. He says as those savings get depleted that the higher rates start to have a bigger impact on the economy so his baseline case is still looking for S&P to to go back down to about 3200 and slightly below. That would bring it you know in line but kind of past similar episodes, he adds. But there are some relevant factors that may still be headwinds for equity is going forward yeah.
