The Importance of Parallel Positions in Squatting

In the Asian population, they are very straight hips like and very much pointing forward. So that means that if you have very open hips, squatting with your feet straight is actually pigeon toed for a Chinese person with it. Western Europe has a tendency to have the hips very open like this. Some people will not be able to break parallel simply. Like, for example, some people are not designed to do pistols like one leg squats. For me, it hurts my hips. I'm the typical gillic person. My hips are super open and out at the same time. You know what I mean? That makes sense.
