The Effect of Fox News on CNN Viewers

Political scientist David Brookman and Joshua Kala paid 304 Fox News viewers $15 an hour to watch CNN for up to seven hours a week. After the end of the month, people who watched CNN were less likely to say that it is an overreaction to go out and protest in response to the police shooting. And they were also less likely to believe if Joe Biden is elected president, we'll see many police get shot by black lives matter activists. So it looks like the media environment really influenced those people quite a bit.
