Do You Need It Quieter or Louder?
Things sound better when they're louder, up to a point. Proximity effect is probably a big part of this. We do not perceive all frequencies in a flat response. Low frequencies need a lot of energy for us to hear it. High frequencies, it starts to trail off too. The best example i can give is, like a zilophone, or like a morimba.
