Daniel Day Lewis is able to inhabit a fictional character that is actually a human possession, isn't it? Exactly. That's preternatural that he can. He's clearly in the movie. He is mad that he's acting. So you know that like within the context of his character, he's acting in the TV show, but you realize that an actor is acting like he'm acting. The conclusion that movie is just a terrible gut punch to it's horrific. And so what Satan does then is he seduces you and that's really the theme of the entire film.
