Butler thought this was sort of strange, and he himself had kind of a strained relationship with capitalism. Wasn't totally really down with this. But he was curious enough about what the hell they were talking about to hear them out and basically get a lot of information from them such that he could then turn them into congress. He turned them into congress in late 19 33. And congress reached the conclusion that, in fact, butler was telling the truth, and that there was this plot to meno, capture and kill franklin delnor roosevelt over the gold standard.
