The Birthplace of Intersectionality

Kimberly Crenshaw is famous for having named Critical Race Theory, which she did also in 1989 at the first meeting of the Critical Race Theorists. And here on the podcast, the new discourse podcast, I've read through her introduction and conclusion to Kimberly Crenshaw's follow-up paper from 1991 called Mapping the Margins. This is where the one ring in the intersectional ring was forged, the one ring of solidarity-based, in other words, identity-marces, identity politics.
