The Differences Between Chronic PE and New Acute PE

Khushbu: Chronic and acute PEs look very different in appearance. Khushbu: There are clues that you would look for to try to determine whether this is chronic PE versus a new acute PE. CTF patients also have high incidence of obesity and these patients can be older, so we're looking for pulmonary hypertension with right heart catheterization.
