The Government Is Stripping Out of Network Rail
Network rail is sitting on a debt burden of 25 billion pounds. The cost of them servicing the interest on those bonds is two billion a year. That's exactly the same figure that the government is stripping out of the national railway. And when you dig on who these bondholders are, same people i s is is is the big financial institutions. They're tryi to carry back their diktat in order to make our members can continue to get their coup prices paid and have their maturety repaired.
